Hey everyone. It's been quite a long time since I bought a birthday present for a 2 year old, and I have no clue where to begin.

I know that the boy likes playing soccer and enjoys pretending to talk on cell phones.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA

as someone that has a 2yo, i can tell you they like things that you can put together and take apart. like some small block set, books with a lot of pictures, or an educational toy of some sort. my son does remember who gave him stuff on his birthday.

or a hooker.

My boy was into big trucks and Jeeps when he was two. His favorite was a noisy police Jeep. If it's noisy, you can't go wrong. Just be prepared for paybacks when you have children of your own!

umm...how about a soccer ball (real on or nerf one), or a fake cell phone.

DO NOT GIVE A TWO YEAR OLD ANYTHING WITH SMALL PIECES!..sheesh..
although lego does have BIG HUGE building blocks that are pretty cheap to purchase..those are cool..
that-or anything that makes a ton of noise to drive the parents crazy.

I just got my son that rolling bowling pin game/toy. The pins wobble and talk. He loves them

Fun! We just had an old fashioned bowling game where I had to set up the pins....800 times a day. We "lost" the bowling ball after the 2nd week.
