View Full Version : Mussina is a good pitcher

I'm watching the Florida/Nueva York series right now and I can't help to notice, this guy Mussina is a crafty pitcher. He has made some pretty great pitches and a pretty impressive defensive play as well(getting Pudge caught in the rundown). Of course I have to root for the Marlins because of their payroll, but I gotta say Mussina is playing the best right now. He has definitely brought his A game.

So far this game is better than Game 2. That was pretty boring.

Moose is usually pretty good, so that's no surprise. Then again, with the pinstripe payroll they should be able to afford good players.

*update* David Cassidy just sang God Bless America. Never mind what I said before. This game is now the worst game of the series.

Jeter is also doing well. I think has all 3 Yankees hits doesn't he? He is still hustling even though he almost snapped his ankle in the last inning.

i was very surprised with the way jeter has handled beckett.. im glad someone got to that punk.. if theres any one thing i hate more than the yankees its josh beckett....

Was a pretty good game until the ninth when it was blown open. But when Rivera came in it could have been close and still been over.

It was a shame to see a World Series Game played in that much rain.

Yesterday when I came home from work I tossed my keys across the room onto the table and I could have sword I heard Alfonso Soriano take a swing at them. I mean Christ, he'll swing, and miss at anything! That's going to have to stop. No team can continue winning with their leadoff man being a K machine.

i was actually really into the game but TURNED IT OFF at the exact moment Cassidy got to "bless" in god bless america. he is an evil alien from hell.

It was an awful rendition of that song. I hope they get someone else to do it tonight. Aw hell, it being Miami I'm sure they'll just wheel out Gloria Estifan yet again. :rolleyes:
