After 4 months of searching, of getting dry holes, flying redeyes for interviews, being stuck in NYC for the blackout, I FINALLY got a job!

Its not just any job, its the job I was looking for. I am going to be a financial analyst for Cendant's Timeshare resort group doing hundred million dollar asset backed securitizating deals (for the non-finance people, take a bunch of loans and sell them off in bits to investors to fund more loans).


Man, they want me to start on next wednesday, its too soon! I am also going to be relocating to Orlando! This is so broken because I am just fekking elated at this.

Yeah, I would actually be working with their stuff too, Trendwest, Fairfield, and Worldmark are all timeshares. People borrow money from Cendant to finance the timeshares. Cendant turns around and sells off the package of loans to fund other loans. I am going to be helping the primary securitization guy for the timeshare group do these sell offs.
