oddly enough the odds are in your favor. I think the odds are 1 in 24mil so a $1 bet would, eventually, in the long run, the very long run, (like 75Kyears) it would pay itself off. We should have a GotApex pool. I'm in.

Ah, if only, they used to be 1 in 18 million, but they made the game harder. Now, the odds are 1 in 41,416,353. Also, internet pools are disqualified since they count as electronic bets, though they can't prove you didn't mail a friend a dollar to buy a ticket. Also, as for 75K years, that's hardly in your favor since I don't know of anyone who has lived that long. But all the same, I'm in too if anyone wants to set it up.

By the way... if you believe that choosing 1,2,3,4,5,6 will win then play lotto. But if you think that those numbers are stupid and will never hit then why do you play at all? The odds of 1,2,3,4,5,6 are the same as any 6 number combination.

But what are the chances that those 6 numbers will come up in a row!?! I mean, come on.

HEY! THOSE ARE MY NUMBERS. Why'd you give them away? Now I'm going to have to split it. Anyhow, I know there's no guarantee, what investment is a guarantee? I'm just saying what's probable. ;) And even if you lose you still get that warm fuzy feeling that you get when you donate to the schools.

That's how I rationalize it. "I didn't just waste five bucks. I donated twenty-five cents to my alma mater."

Haha. I'm with Brain: If he did win, he really would have to say goodbye since I'm sure there'd be a throng of people going to kill him and steal the winning ticket.

Oh well 2 tickets split the prize. After all that I ended up with a 4 out of 5 and a 3 out of 5 plus the mega number. After all this damn lotto madness (the last couple weeks it has been building up) that basically put me back to even.

Well, I found a dollar on the sidewalk and bought a quick pick. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
