Is there a way to ftp multiple directores with files from a Windows machine to a Unix machine while preserving all the creation dates on the directories? I would like to have the creation dates of the directories on the Windows machine match the creation dates of the directories on the Unix machine.

Not if you are using the FTP client provided within Windows. However, clients like CuteFTP, WsFTP and BulletProofFTP allow you to preserve dates from within their configuration options.
I know that in BulletProofFTP, you can disable "safe writes" under Options>Toggles.

I looked into WSFTP and they do have an options to preserve creation dates. Unfortunately, it only applies to when I download a file. It doesn't work if you want to upload a file to another computer. Does Bulletproof FTP preserve creation dates on uploads?

WinSCP is what we use at work.
