My pain killers arent that good. Just vicodin, trileptal (or something sounding like that, and a transdermal lidocain patch. I dont quite know what happened.

Well here is a relatively quick abstract for you: Last Feb I started having pains in my ankle. After a few weeks I finally went to see my Orthropod who couldnt figure out what it was, saying that it was either a weird nerve disorder or an unknown cause. He had me have films and MRI taken and decided that I did not need to have a nerve test because the MRI didnt indicate that disorder. Doc 1 had me on anti-inflamatories, going to Physical Therapy, and finally gave me a steroid injection. When none of those things worked and only made it worse, he wanted to scope me, which my father (a doc) did not want me to go through.

As such, I went to get a second opinion. So Doc 2 thought I had some little understood nerve condition and sent me to be tested for it and to a pain clinic. I didnt care for Doc 2 and the diagnosis did not make sense to me, but I went to the pain clinic anyway. As such, I have been on MANY different drugs starting with non-narcotic pain killers to narcotic pain clincs. I have probbaly been on 6 or 7 different drugs for a month each now, with none really working as of yet.

I finally got annoyed enough and went to Doc 3 who after hearing that I went to Doc 2 agreed with him. WHen I went back to Doc 1 he deceided that he COULD NOT operate on me without the disorder being ruled out, so I am still being treated for the pain disorder. Which is why I am still on pain killers. Add on to that I just had a Botox treatment procedure done on Wednesday.....
