Six schoolboys were hospitalised after they took Viagra pills in their lunch-break, it has emerged.
One of the Year Eight pupils, all aged 12 and 13, is believed to have brought in the anti-impotency tablets and handed them around to five of his pals at the all-boys comprehensive school in Berkshire.
Teachers at the Forest School in Winnersh called 999 when word spread of what they had done.
A spokeswoman from Wokingham District Council, the local education authority, said: "It is believed that a pupil brought the tablets from home into the all-boys school and shared them with five friends. The school responded quickly to the situation and, as a precaution, paramedics were called.
"The pupils were taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. All six have subsequently been discharged and are not expected to suffer any ill-effects.there must be a more creative title for this thread...i'm too tired to think of one

so..... what exactly happened to them that required medical attention? i'm not familiar with the effects viagra can have on kids...

Why were they hospitalized? Just in case it had bad side effects? I'd hold off on a hospital trip until I showed side effects.

i'm sure they went because they already had bad side effects. a 100-lb dork taking god knows how large a dose... remember, a lot of people buy high-dosage pills and split them in half or even fourths... it's a vasodilator. in the recommended dosage, the effects occur just in the penis. in higher doses, the effects are more general. side effects include headache, vision disturbances, nothing too serious, but probably alarming.

that's what my buddy told me to do with the one he gave me. he told me i'd be sorry if i took the whole thing.
The school has a strict no drugs policy and a pupil will be temporarily excluded for actions which placed other pupils at risk.
Evil school, trampling on the student's reproductive rights. :rolleyes:

The Sun newspaper quoted a source at the school as saying: "By the time the afternoon lessons began, there was no hiding what they had done."
Paramedics took the six squirming boys to the nearby Royal Berkshire Hospital, where they were monitored until the effects wore off.

From here it seems silly that doing this at an all boys school is pretty worthless but I think they didn't plan that far ahead. They take it then realize they've got nothing to do with it.

uhmmm, I don't remember that part of growing up. Was PRM circumcised? Maybe they didn't leave him enough foreskin to work with. Though I would imagine viagra + natural hormones could equal some discomfort for the kids.
Can someone explain what viagra does. Does it force you to have an erection or just enable you to have one? Does it increase the erection size?
When I read the article I couldn't help but think that this should happen in the next Harry Potter book: Harry Potter and the magic blue pill or Harry Potter and the 100lb willie.

an erection is caused by blood really filling the heck out of the vessels in the penis. more flows in, less flows out, it's like a very full water balloon instead of a half-empty one... gets rigid.
viagra increases the amount of blood in the penis, making it harder (and maybe a tiny bit bigger.)
it doesn't help if your problem is purely psychological... if you're not the least bit turned on, your penis is gonna be limp no matter how much you take.
