now that my order has been delayed yet another week, will you send the
wallets?!?!?! my order was WRONG. are you reading this? WRONG. You
sent 5x7's that I did not order INSTEAD OF the wallets that i did order. You didn't send the wallets in a separate mailer. YOU DIDN'T SEND THE WALLETS AT ALL.
>
SEND THE WALLETS. send them QUICKLY.
>
if you can't fix this stupid, unnecessary problem, I will be drafting an email about how incompetent and unhelpful your service is. I'll send it to everyone I know, encouraging them not to buy anything from snapfish. I will include links to places like shutterfly, and encourage everyone to shop there. The email will be entertaining enough that all my friends will send it to all of their friends. within weeks, hundreds of thousands of people will be laughing at snapfish and not spending money there.
>
> SEND THE WALLETS. I'm really not asking for anything excecptional here... the product for which I have a paid receipt. Most businesses tend to provide that kind of thing if they want to stay in business.

Most likely you will receive your order with 7-10 business days. We request you to reply to this mail if you have not received that package with in twenty days, so that we can issue the credits for the replacement prints.

ok...what have we learned here?

Numero Uno...Don't piss off Alyssa!

i would suggest writing them an email telling them that you're disappointed in the service you've gotten. you prior correspondence seems a bit too weak and polite. you need to convey more of a sense of urgency and irritation. lol.
btw...what is snapfish? nm. i'll just google it and find out myself.

I read the whole e-mail and you are really quite bitchy right from the beginning. And people say I have a bad attitude.

Why do you use them instead of somewhere like WalMart? Cheaper?

yep. the first two orders they screwed up, i was nice and got nowhere. they don't listen or do a thing until you yell.

and if you have a bad attitude, what are you doing calling into question the attitudes of others, o pot of blackness... especially since my first email was hardly "bitchy." it point-blank expressed my severe disappointment and proactively stated the solution i wanted.

another example. i've spent a lot of time on the phone with my med insurance rep over the last 5 months. there are collection agencies on my ass because bills haven't been paid. she has yet to return a call. five months. several calls a week in which i was unfailingly polite and professional. several letters to her which have apparently been ignored. today i yelled at her answering machine for a few minutes, finishing up by telling her it would take less time to call me back than it will to listen to my repeated messages, which will become longer, more frequent, and more abusive.

she called within the hour. 5 months worth of problems were solved in 5 minutes. i'd really rather be nice, but that repeatedly gets me nowhere. i have more examples, but i think we've all been there and there's no need for me to go on.

they're pretty cheap. and they're supposed to be quick... i upload my digital photos to the site, order prints, they're supposed to be there in a week. the last three orders have been a month or more, and always not what i ordered. i'm not using them anymore.

walmart may be cheaper, but any amount of shopping i can do from home is worth it to me. it's impossible to take a toddler and two infants to a store and buy stuff. the three-year-old can walk (he can also lay on the floor and refuse to walk, or run away and hide, or tell strangers that he wants to go home with them because i'm not nice, or decide that he's a jedi knight and the fat lady in the muumuu is jabba the hut, or that he's harry potter casting spells on everyone... "eat slugs!" followed by puking noises goes over so well with the old folks...), but there is no cart that accomodates two infants who can't sit up AND merchandise. preschool is three hours twice a week... tuesdays is grocery shopping (one infant in a carseat in the front of the cart, one in a front-pack baby carrier... which precludes my buying cases of soda, any thing else heavy, or anything on a high shelf), thursdays is house cleaning. that's all i get. everything else gets delivered to my door. even a trip to the library is a potential disaster.

I think it's time for you to get a nice printer. Canon color printers are really good for color photos and are cheap. I got mine on ebay for $50

i was at a friend's house recently and he printed off some pics w/his photo printer and i was astounded at how good they were from a $200 printer.

I went shopping with my cousin for printers and even I (whom I consider to be well versed in technology) was astonished with the quality of photo printers these days.

except that it sounds like time is an issue for WL, so a printer probably would just be more pain then it's worth.

online dev:
upload photos in a matter of minutes, checkout, wait for few weeks to get mail. whole process takes like, 15 min out of your day.

printing:
buy printer, buy paper, make sure you have enough ink
print a few photos per sheet... make sure ink is dry... cut... repeat for each chunk of photos.

i love my photo printer, but it's time consuming, so if i'm printing out more then 20 pics at a time, i'd rather just order them online.

yep, time's a factor, and i have yet to be impressed with home-printed photos... and i can't imagine that, factoring in cost of paper and ink, it's anywhere close to reasonable in price. 15-40 cents for prints from online stores... and i don't have to do squat.

Walmart has an upload option as well if you are shopping around for online prints. You can order prints from their site HTH

I worked in the photo lab for a month and wish I was still there. Photos are something you don't mess with... memories only happen once.

I love my HP Photosmart 130 (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000069LI6/002-4945322-7480866?v=glance). One thing that irritated me about having a digital camera was that I rarely ended up printing normal 4" by 6" prints to share with family and friends. I use the HP a LOT, and it's always fun to be able to print the pictures "on the spot" (no PC required, just put the memory card in and start printing) and see people's reaction. Like having a Polaroid camera :D . I know there are photo printers that are much better quality/resolution, especially at larger print sizes, but at 4"x6", I feel that the HP does quite well.
