There are some things in the pics that could give it away

Well done! You are correct. Wizard Island gives it away.

lol. actually it just looked like a big lake inside a volcanic crater so i just guessed that it was the famous crater lake.

ya, the Millenium Wheel in London, and yes thats the Thames River right there too. When I was over there, i didnt go up to the "bloody box" that David Blaine was in, but I saw it in the distance though (if that counts for anything)...

damn. I wasn't going to go in this thread because i was like, "i'm never going to know anything they post." and of course the first one is one of the cooler landmarks in my state. :(

(that's right, it's *MY* state. don't you forget it.)

Now Now Revil...I am sure that some people here would disagree with you. My fiance and her family are all Oregonians....Medford (and surround area) and Portland areas. As such, I have been to Crater lake numerous times, but those pictures are from the clearest day that any of them had ever seen up at the lake. The pictures dont even do it justice as it was just an APS camera (for the panoramic views)

My first time up at CL was in a April and it was freaking snowing so bad you couldnt even see into the rim.
