Hi,

Is there a web page (or other agency) where people can report when a company will not fullfil its obligation regarding a mail in rebate?

I sent one in to office max and they claimed they never received it. I made copies of absolutely everything and they are still not willing to give me the rebate at this time.

It amazes me that in 25 years of mailing letters the only letters that ever get "lost" are mail in rebates.

So I would appreciate any info you can provide.

Thanks,
Juggernaut

Contact your state Attorney General's office. They usually deal with fraud. In NY, you are specifically supposed to go to the AG for rebate complaints. You can also contal the US Postal Inspector's office as it would be mail fraud.

Further, contact the Better Business Bureau in your area and file a formal complaint. A company like Omax would definitely want to resolve the issue before they get a complaint on their permanent file with the BBB.

Good luck./

contact your Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division in your State. They have the power to do something. The BBB is a JOKE. no power to do anything. even their ratings are a joke, which tell you nothing
