Resolution is certainly lower than APex's monitor. Which leads me to wonder, who else actually spends 2.1K on a widescreen monitor? WHERE DOES APEX GET ALL HIS MONEY!?!?

This is an LCD HD TV, not a Monitor. That is why the resolution is lower and probably part of the reason why the price is so much lower than Apex's monitor.
