I was going 75mph in a 55mph zone- the DC beltway- it was late, i was driving on autopilot basically. I changed lanes a couple times. flashing lights.

cop says i was going 80, so I got an 80 in 55 speeding ticket, and "negligent driving", 2 tickets for 4 points. Sucks ass. if i can't get some points off in court my insurance will be sky high. only thing i have going for me is this is my first offense ever since i turned 16 3 years ago.... this is a big deal to me i guess and i'm just pissed at the world. thats my rant.

why dont you use that trick that was posted a while ago. If the ticket is for 50 bucks send them 52 and dont cash the 2 dollar check they send back.

Luckly i've never had to try it, I still have a perfect record.

Ya I know driving is such a pain, and it is sooo easy to go too fast. I was driving around in my friend's new Toyota MR2 Spyder, oh man it is too easy to go fast, got up to 115 on 520, ha when we were going 95 my friend stood up to see what the wind was like.. lol. But ya then later in the day I was cruisin around some S turns and I took them a little to fast and the car has a rear mounted engine and all the weight is back there so the back end slid around and I spun out, spun this way, then that way then this way then ended up in the middle of the road sideways, PHEW! luckily it was out in the middle of no where so there were no other cars around or else I would have been in some deep S**T there. I am driving the car again today, ahhh it is just to easy to go fast in cars with lots of juice, you get velocitized.

I don't care if I have an ugly, beat up Pinto. I will save money on the car just to hire a driver. I feel like all I've done in college is drive. Ugh.

Sometimes you can just pelead Nola-conted-era and they won't add points, but will have to pay the fine

I got a ticket for doing 104 in a 70 zone in Kansas... paid the $126 fine, plead no contest, and it's been 9 months and the ticket still hasn't shown up here in Oklahoma. Guess I lucky I didn't get arrested.

So what is the deal with not depositing the $2 check? Please explain!

the $2 thing it is an urban legend
Very unlikly that it is true. Don't think that the goverment are that stupid =P at least not to that level http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/wink.gif We accidently overpay all the time but have never keep check so can't verify that legend.
