How To Play:
Print this out and take it to the next show you go to. When you get a bingo, scream "BINGO!" at the top of your lungs, then break a bunch of beer bottles on the floor and get thrown out.

When it suddenly became "cool" to drink cheap beer (a.k.a. beer stereotypical of red-necks) just for the sake of being "cool". I see dudes in chunky glasses and cabbies hats drinking PBR and High Life when I know for a fact that they previously drank "good" beer on a regular basis.

bingo.
you know what though? PBR ain't too bad when compare to other cheap american pilsner type beers. I just as soon have it as Bud, Miller, Coors, etc. The bars around here will have it for $1 each some nights (it used to be Busch Lite) which ain't bad when your in a place where their idea of a "really good beer" is Heiniken or Corona and they want $3.50 for em.
as for what's a hipster, this definition from the urban dictionary pretty much hits it on the head:
HIPSTER
someone, usually a teenager or 20something, who adheres to a counterculture ranging from indy-rockers to neo-hippies to skaters. they tend to define themselves by the music they listen to, and the outlandish clothes they wear. hipsters are opposed to other countercultures like goths, metal-heads, and gangstas, and they also avoid preps, eurotrash, white trash, and jocks
question: why does he only listen to bands that are never played on the radio?
answer: he's a hipster
although i take issue with the question/answer part. the vast majority of the music i listen to is not played on the radio and i don't really consider myself a hipster.:dodgy:
(i do own precisely one high school sports t-shirt and one hoodie. and i do shop a thrift stores but I've been doing that since i was a kid. i also shop at the mall)
so, what hipster gear do yall own?

The only thing on the Bingo list I have, are hoodies
I don't fit any of the things for Memo's picture though (although I see them all the time at shows)

i have some retro-style sketchers and a pair of "bowling shoe" style boots. other than that, i don't think i have much that qualifies as "hipster" wear. definitely no trucker hats.
as for the "listens to music not on the radio" thing, here's a more accurate forumulation, imo: hipster = someone who listens to music simply because it's not on the radio, not because they think it's good.
i guess to me that's what hipsters are all about, and why i find them so completely obnoxious. it's not that they're doing things/listening to music that they think are cool, or smart, meaningful. instead, they dedicate their lives to being "anti-fad" and believe that by doing so, they become "fad".
