So I'm winding up my birthday drinkfest and I thought I would share with you all that I have a pretty awesome girlfriend. One of the gifts she gave me was a beer mug set engraved with a bunch of different things. This is the one that really let me know she loves my ass:

She even got the lowercase/uppercase right like I use here at G|A. I didn't even know that she paid attention to what I do here. Pretty cool.

Nevermind about the orange rind thing. Upon further review, it looks like a red ribbon that is refracted through the mug. My mistake. :P

Is that a Sierra Nevada Wheat beer?

You're a pretty smart dude there coleslaw. There is actually a little stuffed animal behind the beer, with a red ribbon tied around his neck. You were right on.

The beer I'm afraid is only Sam Adams. It was delicious. As far as my girl being a keeper, I'm pretty sure you are all correct. She is fine and she is a great person. She is just a lot younger than me(I'm 31 and she's 23) so she can wear an old guy like myself out.

Believe it or not, this is the first big deal that I ever got from Got|Apex. It is the Fuji 1 Megapixel camera that I purchased through Mercata. Up until a few weeks ago I was using a Canon S35 but people at my work required it more than I so I had to give it up. Lately I have had to blow the dust off of this old camera when I needed to take a picture. I'm glad to hear that it still puts out a decent image :)

What kind of places etch mugs like that? I'm sure that I could probably do the same with a sand blaster, but I don't have one at the moment.
