hello, couple week ago Fry's had WesternDigital 120GB retail hard disk kit for 108 - $50 mail in rebate.
the cashier give me a ****ing wrong rebate form! i don't know if either they ****up or they just don't have it. i got a email today from rebateshq.com/Western Digital, telling me to send in the "external " 120GB upc/label. FRY GIVE ME THE WRONG REBATE!!!
i'm am so piss off :angry: i can't even write.
what can i do? is there still a chance for me to get rebate. please if anyone have deal with this before. reply ASAP.

Did you even try going to fry's to tell them that the wrong rebate was given to you?

I just called them. i'm going there tomrrow. they said they'll contact the Western Digital to see if i can resumbit and that's that.
:angry: what if i can't resumbit? Will Fry cut me a check? now i have to do the work again! damn bastard! :angry:
this is why i hate mail in rebate deal.

i would demand money from frys. or store credit at the very least, it was their mistake, not yours

that's how i feel. their cashier mistake had screw me over. if they have a rebate there for customer to pickup. i'll check twice before leaving the store but no, they have cashier to hand out. hence, their screwup.
i hope they freaking cut me a check. damn bastard! :angry:

Bring all of your correspondence with you to Fry's showing that the wrong form was sent in etc...
If they don't have new forms or can't guarantee you'll get it, tell them to credit your credit card or give you cash back. Make sure you bring your receipt so that they can treat it like a price mistake.

The only way people will stop posting non-deals here is if no one responds. Anyone who responds to "oops wrong forum" questions like these adds to the problem (yes, me included).:bandit:
