in a manner of speaking.

The other night, I found out that one of my close friends from college had a kid!

The back story is that my friend--after breaking up with the love of his life--started dating random people (of course). Anyway, along the course of these escapades, he started dating this girl he met online. As time went on, he realized more and more that the girl was a psycho, and he eventually dumped her after getting back together with his ex. Then, this girl started IMing his ex to let her know that she had been having sex with him even after he had got back together with her(his ex).

Later, this psycho-girl randomly calls him up again and tells him that they have to get married because she is pregnant with his kid. At first, we believed her, but then she sort of disappeared after scamming her roommates out of $10,000. After that, we just assumed that she had been lying about the whole thing, but not too long ago, she showed up at his parents house; brought his kid; and then ran off again without a word.

As bad as this sounds, I'm so glad that this girl is out of this kid's life. My friend is a really good guy, and he was willing to do anything and give up anything for his son (and now to find out that he actually has one). Plus the kid has both the grandparents and my friend to help raise him. :)

Nope. The timing is right, but you are right... what does that prove? To be perfectly honest, though, it doesn't matter whether it is his or not: that child has a family... uncles and all. :)

Dude.. Your fried MUST get a blood test done. There could be some insane legal issues to arise out of this later. 'Sides, if he's not the kids dad and doesn't care, that's great, but one day the kid will want to know. It'd be better for your friend to find out now than by accident later they both give blood for something unrelated and discover that THEY are unrelated..

Get the test!!

Gratz on Uncledom!

Well, I'll be sure to tell him when he comes out. He might have had it done already, but
