gam. feel free to move this to sports and entertainment if you feel the subject warrants it.

for those of you that ride, i'm debating getting a litespeed ti frame, and a trek carbon frame.

i've demo'd a carbon trek 5200 but have never ridden a titanium bike. carbon is light, stiff, and deadens the feel of the road. ti is a little more flexible and has a more supple ride. since 90% of my riding will not be racing, do i need to go for speed? either way i'm going to spend $2000-3000 on a good used litespeed or trek.

tia!
