View Full Version : Suckage: retail theft detectors always going off

Not only is it annoying and apparently non-preventable, what happens when it does...
After eveyone remotely near the entrance looks at you as if you've just tried to steal something, all you get from security is a lame-a$$ "sorry, have a nice day."
Isn't there a better method of theft protection out there? Couldn't they run the bag by a tester to see if the detectors have all been disabled?

Well, my online name happens to be my real name... but i'm sure many Apex users aren't using their online names in the real world. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Image that: so, iateoutyourmomlastnight, what did she taste like?
The story goes:
We were looking for dishes and silverware for my girlfriend's new apartment. We were just looking around the store and the next thing we see are two security guards, one at the register and one right next to us (trying to frighten us, i guess) and every worker in the store is looking our way.
Talk about your 'stuck up' snobby stores. I mean, i know we weren't dressed in our Sunday best, but we also weren't wearing shirts and hats that said "f*ck you" either. And still they called security...

We should have ran out of the store really fast and have them chasing after us. She was a biotch any way.

What the hell is Mikasa doing chasing people away anyway? I wouldn't characterize their stuff as otherworldly nice. Who the hell steals dishes anyway?!
