I am trying to locate some friends I had from over 30 years ago. I believe one lives in the Washington DC area and another one is a big shot in the EPA in California.
The one good thing is that their last names are very unusual.

Any recommendations?

Start looking through directories? :shrug:

The only other thing I can think of is going back to the source. You know where their families are (or at least were), so go through the directory your hometown. Find their families, relatives, or common friends and see if you can track down their number that way.

Or you could just put their names in google and see if it can narrow down the field for you.

Well, they were somewhat normal the last time I saw them. If they were whackjobs, then maybe I would watch out for them on those shows.

wait, are you sure classmates.com is a pay service? i remember registering for it a LONG time ago, and i was surprised at how much info i found about people i had lost touch with years before. then again, this was, like i said, a LONG time ago, so maybe they've become a pay site since then... :shrug:

I tried Google and I at least know where they were working several years ago from the search. I am pretty sure that I can locate their EMail or Phone number now. Thanks

And yes, classmates.com is a pay service now.

That's a good idea; however we really didn't care for the college we went to. I never gave a dime to the alumni fund and I doubt that they did either.
