XP Pro user account change

my friend bought a laptop from sony i think, and he's asking me how to change the name of a user. its set at administrator, but the thing is, when he goes to user accounts in control panel, the option of changing the user name doesnt appear? anyone encounter this, or know of any other ways to change the user name? thanks.

What he should do is remove all the admin rights from the admin account and then disable it. This way, even if someone does hack it and enable the account, they still won't have any rights.

He should rename the admin account and use that instead. Only one admin account and it is not named Administrator so it will be a lot harder to hack. Then again, if you have the right tools...
