NEVERMIND!!! - my roommate was playing a completely different-sounding song and that's when the title hit me...

INOJ - let me love you down

This one is really killing me. The song was played on radio stations 5, 6, or 7 years ago. There are parts of the song that sound like the beginning (0:15-0:20) of this song (http://members.aol.com/bellelimng/wait4u.WMA). I think some of the lyrics were "wanna sex you up" but the song I'm looking for is not LFO - I Wanna Sex You Up. The song is also not INOJ - Time After Time.

Could you be thinking of Color Me Badd? That song was from the early 90s though...

I think there was a group called Five that had a similar song as well.

Hard for me to say since I haven't heard the song for such a long time. I could very well be just thinking of an imaginary song that doesn't exist. :( If I had to say, the artist is female. Could be a group. :(

i got it off a p2p. Sounds like a woman, maybe early 90's, but I can't be sure.
