Does anyone know anywhere i can get a high quality CD-RW drive for cheap? It doesn't have to be top of the line, or even brand name as long as it works and is reliable. It should be at least 4x2x24 though, and I am hoping for an internal one. Thanx guys!

Well if you are looking for a good price buy.com has a 4x4x24 for $154.95 (EIDE Interface). It's not name brand but it is a good price. You can view it at http://www.buy.com/comp/product.asp?sku=10228238. You may also want to check out www.pricewatch.com (http://www.pricewatch.com) you can usually find good deals on there.
I myself am running the HP 9100i (8x4x32). That cost me only $249, but I doubt if you want to go that high. It's a great recorder. Still debating if I want a 12x...but it won't be anytime soon.
Good luck!

Oh ya you may also want to check out www.mysimon.com (http://www.mysimon.com) it goes through and compares prices between sites. Also Cnet is good for comparing prices on things like that.

I've been looking at a memorex 4x2x24 drive at staples.com item no. 385999. I don't really wanna order from buy.com because of bad experiences i have had with their shipping policy in the past.
I'd suggest a Ricoh MP 7060S from Components Direct:
Componentsdirect.com
888-426-6766
$165 plus $10 shipping. Mention Pricewatch.
Ricoh's are not bad.

i went ahead and bought that memorex from staples. They said it would be here on 4/4, and it wasn't, so i called them and gave them crap about it. They put a rush order on it. Supposedly it'll be here tomorrow (4/9) or tuesday (4/10).
