View Full Version : Reminder about AIPCS/AI Computers

With the recent deals, I just wanted to remind you all about how horrible AIPCS/AI Computers are. Don't take my word for it, simply look at resellerratings.com here (http://www.resellerratings.com/seller4533.html) and here (http://www.resellerratings.com/seller6310.html).

Oh, and don't forget about the poor guy who not only got scammed, but was treated so horribly, he created an entire web site here (http://www.geocities.com/noaipcs/) complaining about AIPCS/AI Computers.

Just in case no one saw it, they got their asses handed to them on TechTv's The Screen Savers, quite simply for producing a crap product.

I was supposed to become part of this business upon it's inception, but I decided to back out. I know where the business is. I know who these people are. I know their families, and their relatives. I know what they are about. They are scam artists, only interested in making money, not selling a good product, with good support. Don't buy a single item from them.

It's sad, really. I hope the powers that be hang them up by their nuts. In a legal sense, of course! :D

I'm skeptical. My bullshit alert(TM) mechanisms are firing, telling me you didn't back out from the business, but were refused or forced out. You are now bitter about it, and thus posting a lot of smack about the company in an attempt to harm them.

Yeah, that definitely seems more likely to me, judging by the tone, content, and very fact that you even chose to post. :hmm:

What a coincidence! My uninformed-*******-whose-argument-doesn't-have-a-basis-in-reality alert (TM) just went off!

Seriously, you couldn't be more wrong. Quite a conspiracy theorist you are though. Do you seriously think I (or anyone) would have gone through all that trouble to "post smack" (as you called it) about a company? Why bother, when they are doing a fantastic job harming themselves by just doing business every day.

If you knew anything, you'd realize that to review a reseller on resellerratings.com requires an order number, and purchase date. I have neither, as I never made a purchase.

Thanks for playing, though.

Can't we all just get along?!

Seriously, I've never bought anything from them, but I was curious, so I looked them up on bbb.com:

http://www.bbbnewyork.org/businessreports/Default.aspx?id=73780

Holy crap. I've never seen such a bad BBB report.

Basically 48/52 complaints with the BBB came out with the customer unhappy. 52 Complaints seems like a ton to start with. Looks like the majority of them are on delivery issues.

I realize that GotApex gets some sort of revenue for this stuff, but is this really a place to send business to?

--Edit:
Ok, It's the day before Thanksgiving and I'm bored at work, so I looked around for more about this company. Talk about jumping right into a hornet's nest! Check out this forum at resellerratings:

If you can believe that anyone posts (questionable) there are a lot of government agencies unhappy with this company!

Oh crap, now zenbooty is going to think I filed all those myself? Whatever shall I do!??!?! :D :D LMAO

I agree, and I've written to Gabriel Lam (Apex) regarding this, but never received a response. Yes, they receive a percentage of the sales, that is true. I figured that perhaps morality would win out, but I guess that's just me.

I don't understand your comment, nor how it relates to this topic. Please elaborate on both. Thanks!

Well, we haven't had 1 complaint from a viewer who has purchased from them as of yet. Believe me, with our volumes, if there's a problem, we would hear about it. We've dropped plenty of merchants because of complaints; the money is never worth the customer service headaches.

Apex,
Yes, I think that's what everyone in the community would think, as well. I'm not accusing you of anything. I want to make that clear. I am simply asking you to take a look at the record of the company, and make your own decision, that's all. For example, sites such as HardOCP have dumped advertisers (similar relationship) because they, in good faith, couldn't support a company that didn't run a reputable business.
Thanks for putting your $.02 in. I am sure I speak for most Gotapex members in saying that we appreciate your involvement, and look forward to hearing your decision.

Here are two more areas to take a look at, if you are skeptical as zenbooty was.

FYI I am showing the links, so you know where you are going.

I wish more people would have listened to me on this. As some of you may know, AIPCS/AI Computers is out of business. I'm not looking for a pat on the back, or any of that ****, but I just want to say "I told you so".

Told us so what? My credit card wasn't charged. No fraud committed. So what's the big deal? No charge, no harm, no fraud. There was no reason for you to come on here to tell us "you told us so" Got| :spam:

Obviously you haven't read any of the links I posted. There WAS fraud. There were charges that were never refunded. There WAS harm. Hell man, before you start flaming, at least read the post. They are scammers, and I'm glad they are out of business.

There was fraud, eh? I want to see a count of hands of people on these boards who were actually charged for the deal that Apex posted. Then I want to see how many of those people haven't gotten refunds back either by their CC company or by AI themselves.
