click on links?

i posted this in off-topic, but no one gave me an answer.

why won't my computer let me click links. i have to right click, and open in new window.

and yes, i've cleaned out the temp files.

more details. where are you clicking? In IE, Outlook, elsewhere? Have you tried other browsers? Have you checked for spyware like coleslaw said? Try some of that :) HTH

after getting trojan, we had to reformat the hd. after re-installing everything, that's when it started.

i can click on things like "general topic", "forums", "new thread", and the like. however, if someone posts a link, like so (http://www.gotapex.com) then it won't open new window or do anything.
