its possible, but not recommended. I did it when (i am ashamed to say). I started using win2k3 as my regular PC OS when i got it from the action pack. I would use this system occasionally, but i still prefer my mac. My win2k box has not been turned on since early july when i moved out of my parents. its sitting at their house collecting dust right now

It's a lot like XP, but as with most server OSs, it's preconfigured to give highest processor priority to background apps (like running services) rather than desktop apps (such as games). You'd have to do a bit of tweaking to get it to run as good as it would under XP.
