Thanks for the update Fury. Guy sounds like a bastard. So at the moment, no one knows the truth about the grandma?

I don't see what is so bad about what they did; it's just a game and people need to learn how to separate feelings and emotions from contests such as this. If anything, the other competitors should have used the death of Grandma to their advantage, as the dude could have been bummed out and not as attentive as everyone else. It sounds like this guy is playing the game better than everyone else, so he deserves to win. Sure, you've living with these people, so feelings and emotions are bound to develop, but there also needs to be some distinction and separation at times in order to play the game.

i don't watch survivor, but when watching MNF they were talking about how they removed immunity from a winner for the first time. What was that about?

They had a challenge where they had 3 words and the Survivors had to use those letters and form new words. One of the guys finished and had done all he could and won. Then Jeff realized as they were walking away that no, he had spelled liaison (sp?) wrong, so they were called back and the guy was out and had to give up immunity. (If they called done and a mistake was found, they were out, so that was normal.) Then since they had been talking about it and had looked at the other boards as they walked away, the remaining players had to start over with new words to finish the game. :)

Thanks Jenny!

But it's pretty lackluster...I was expecting something more dramatic than a spelling error.

so......Sandra won it all. you really never know for sure who is gonna come out on top. i think Lill just got under everyone's skin too much. she was blubbering and apologizing way too much throughout the whole game.
her dumbest move was not keeping Jon with her for the final two. she would be pocketing a cool mill right now if she did.

Anyone else think Lill semi-threw it?

Pretty obvious that Lill would more than likely lose against Sandra. Lill had an uphill struggle to convince the others she should win-not easy with peeps on the jury holding grudges. The vote count showed she didn't change any minds.
What it comes down to was it worth $900k knocking ahole Jon out of the game and totally ensuring he couldn't win? http://home.earthlink.net/~sbp777/smilies/grinno.gif

Here's my idea if they want to have a good survivor show: "Rampage of Rubert". In this exciting series that pos Jon, b@stard Richard Hatch and others from previous survivors try to survive for 2 weeks with Rubert trying to off 'em. Hell, I'd pay real money to see that! Imagine the cheer every time he takes another one of these wusses out. http://home.earthlink.net/~sbp777/smilies/aningrin.gif

Somebody fill me in on what happend... how did the final 4 pan out?

BTW... did "Johnny Rotten" ever tell them about the faking of Grandma's death... and if he did, what did they say about it?

I have them if you want them DF. ;)

They voted Darrah off, leaving Jon, Sandra & Lil. Lil won the freakin immunity, then voted to take Sandra with her to the final 2. (She explained at the reunion that she had wanted Sandra to win if she didn't, cause Sandra was a mother, etc etc, and deserved it more than Jon who was a drinking womanizer.) Sandra won it easily. I think the vote was 4-1 and Jeff didn't read off the last 2 votes, so...

No, he didn't tell them but they all knew by the time the reunion show was on. They were all good natured about it (at least, on the outside) but the audience boo'd and boo'd and boo'd. It was great. :D

haha

Yeah, the immunity challenge Darrah was voted off in was a question/answer challenge about how well they knew the island, etc. The difference this time was, the jury competed as 1 team as well. If one of the 4 won, they got immunity. If the jury won, none of the 4 got immunity. And the jury won (barely beat out Jon). So Darrah was voted off.

The final immunity challenge...they had to balance on these platforms on the water, rocking to the waves, etc. They could use theirs hands and feet but not let their butt or their knees hit the platform. Sandra went down first. Then Jon started in later, telling Lil that if she gave him immunity, he would take her with him to the final 2. She flat out told him no f'ing way (ok, not those exact words) over and over again. He kept pushing. lol Finally, he went down (just over 3 hours I think?) and Lil won.
