It gets expensive to pay someone to be your girlfriend :)

i envy you. that rush of emotion that you feel when you first meet someone that captures your heart is the best. it's hard to maintain that once you're in a relationship. i have it occasionally with certain women now but i have to fight it for obvious reasons. you're able to embrace it and go with it.

i think i need to work harder at developing that feeling with my wife. it's not that we don't have a good relationship...it's just that my personality is very goal oriented. i see something/someone i want and i pursue and give everything for it. whether it's a bike, woman, job, opinion, etc. once i obtain it, i lose a certain amount of interest in it.

anyhoo...this thread is about you. go for it. in the event it doesn't work out, at least you tried.

*sigh* don't remember the last time that happened to me. Well, when the feeling was mutual anyway. Stuff like this never works in my favor, seems like its always one sided. Enjoy it Chosen :)

Personally, I say get her number or alternatively ask "G" to give "b" your number with a message saying that you wanted her to call. That way if she calls you know that there is some interest on her part...other than just being friendly and polite. (Which is what it sounded like to me)

Then again, what do I know? I have been out of the dating scene for a relatively LONG time (about five years) and before that whenever the woman seemed interested, I would try to move on it immediately. [For example, I would have asked if she wanted to head to "Three Big Hairy Sisters" on South Street (if it still exists....I am assuming you were somewhere in the city) and grab a beer or some coffee.) That way you could have talked some more and gotten to know her...then grab her digits.]

Either way, go for it. Whats to lose....the worst she can say is, sorry I am not interested in a short balding fat guy. (If you were George Costanza that is) :hihi:

Last time that happened to me, we actually went out just to test the waters (i thought) and she ended up going out w/ my friend cause I was too slow. :bash:

well. if you need some help with that "rush of emotions" and having a goal with your wife...I can always steal her from you and then you'd have a rush of jealousy and rage and then your goal would be to win her back.

it would suck for me, but u know...anything to help a brotha out :P

I agree... Thinking tends to lead to drama and drama leads to well... Instead of making it a "sweetness" thread to a SS thread

Best of luck to you
