I'd love to have a gotapex alert system of some sort. Where it would send out a short message to my pager or email for HOT deals.

It might be kinda hard to control the number of messages that went out, but I wonder if there would be a way to control it so that only SUPER good deals would get posted.

You'd definately have to get a few responsible people to moderate the outgoing messages. But I'm thinking just a couple a week, for the HOT deals.

What do you guys think?

That would be a great idea, except it would be pretty expensive. The place that I currently work fulltime at has a system called "Telalert" and it could page you alpha numerically. The only problem is that it runs under Unix, is a pain to configure, and it costs an arm and a leg. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/eek.gif

In case you don't know, Apex is going to try and put out an email system so that you can get the deals emailed to you. Should be up after his wedding in June, I would assume. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

That's cool! We use AlphaNumeric pagers where I work as well. It's all done through the web though. Each AlphaPager has an email address. All you'd need is some sort of moderated listserv. I think it's great that apex is already thinking of it.
