I know this is minor compared to most of the posts on this forum, but why does my Winamp play the same fifteen songs over and over, on a playlist of 5,000? Just wanted to vent about this.
Poetic justice for downloading mp3s? :P Maybe you unknowingly have multiples of certain songs on your playlist, so they have a higher chance to be picked?

I understand that, and have deleted many repeats. The funny thing is that the songs that get picked often are ones that I have only one copy of.

I've noticed the same thing with Winamp. I just hit "next" if it's a song I just heard.
Of course, every now and then it will pick one that I haven't heard in a really long time. It's like a sort of treat when it does!

Use "shuffle" instead of "random play".

Thanks, but no thanks with the shuffle. I like listening to some key tunes that hit the spot every time, and I'm too lazy to have it resorted. Go figure that this all keys into my laziness and stupidity. Hmm, now there's something worth considering.
