When smoking a hookah, make sure it doesn't tip over and spill a red-hot piece of charcoal onto the carpet below.
It wasn't even my house. Now I've got to figure out a way to repair the damage. Crap. :(

Mint- and apple-flavored tabacco, of course. :bandit:
Seriously.

I was holding the hose at the time and it just toppled over. I didn't tug on it or anything, so no one really knows exactly how it happened.
I'm guessing that they best way to fix the carpet is to cut a patch from a closet somewhere and try to blend it into the existing carpet.
Wish me luck. :(

so where IS a good place to get a decent hookah?
Any local smoke shop should have a few. They should even hook you up with free accessories as well, such as tongs, a carrying bag, a scrubbing brush, charcoal and a few packs of flavored tobacco. If not, find yourself a different shop! ;)
Smoking a hookah is a very relaxing way to just mellow out and relax, and there are no illegal substances involved, so it's all good.

no illegal substances...... i bet ;)
I've never even heard of a hookah. Anyway, good luck fixing the carpet. You know that gooey stuff on the informercials that claims to fix ripped and burnt upholstery? Maybe there is something like that for carpets. ;)

Be careful smoking those hookahs. If you're not careful, you can very easily smoke waaaayyy more than you intended to :bandit: :eye: :toxic: :dead:

Cut the carpet patch larger than it needs to be, do not glue it down at first, make sure it will look good, because sometimes you have to angle the carpet just right.

Lots of places in OC that I know of. Sorta get's old, a hit of Camel Lights is more pleasurable for me. It's just like inhaling hot air scented with mint and apples, or whatever flavor you choose.

Something is wrong. YOU were trying to suck on the hookah? Shouldn't it be the other way around!?! :bandit:

The hole was successfully patched. We had to look pretty hard to notice the new patch of carpet after it was in place. The dude is even going with me to see Retrun of the King tomorrow night, so there are no hard feelings, thank goodness. :)
Should a hookah even be used for anything other than tobacco?

I saw on National Geographic once some middle eastern country, they were smoking spiders and scorpions. They believed it would make them stronger etc...

Oh, I know, I know...
I was just curious. Doesn't the water filtration make it less effective?
