i know she's rich....
but how rich??
she's on the headline like everyday now...
So it all came down to money. Paris Hilton's family threw an undisclosed quantity of greenbacks at the Seattle porn company that planned to sell the tape of their little girl having sex and got a pledge that the tape would never be sold or distributed, according to Us magazine. But any schlub could download a three-minute highlight on the Internet. So just how loaded are the Hilton party girls, Paris and Nicky, anyway? The mag did some numerology on 22-year-old Paris and estimated that the share of the $5.2 billion Hilton family fortune that she and her 20-year-old sis stand to inherit is a not-too-shabby $28 million each. Paris lives at the family-owned Waldorf-Astoria hotel, 30th floor, in New York. Got her first credit card at age 13. Her weekly allowance during high school: $100. Her Chihuahua, Tinkerbell, wears an angora sweater worth $275. To maintain that rich-people glow, she pays $1,000 a month to Sunset Tan in L.A. Her fave lunch: a McDonald's Value Meal, $3.75.

Like sbp said the Hilton sisters will inherit about $28 million, but she is making a lot more than that. She got $3 million for the stupid reality show that she was on not to mention all the money that she could be getting for endorsements.
Here is the link.

paris hilton is not rich. not for the kind of life she wants to live.
sure, $28 mil sounds like a lot to us poor mofos who would like to have a couple hundred extra to buy some christmas presents. but for someone who wants to live a jet-set, high class lifestyle, $28 mill is nothing.
i saw an article a few months back (and trust me, i'm way too lazy to try and find it) that analyzed her money and her lifestyle and basically said that if she actually had to fund her expenses herself (which of course right now she is leeching off a lot of other people), her $$ would last 5 years or so.
the point of the article is that she needs to marry into a lot more money than she has in order to maintain her high-price lifestyle.
$28M? At the current rate of spending, our old friend Jackson could burn through that in just over 1 year. Then again, his accountant has been pleading for him to cut his monthly spending from $2M to $1M.

Yeah... but in his favor, he actually EARNED his money. Daddy "Joe" didn't just pay for all his expenses.
Paris is livin' off of the fat of the land... and one day the fat is gonna fry. :hmm:
True enough. Too bad big daddy Hilton isn't like Bill Gates.

In Japan, she'll easily get $1 million and up for a single endorsement," he said. "She's a blue-eyed blonde, which plays precisely to the male demographic in Japan."

Question #1: How did she become famous in the first place?
Question #2: How do we make her go away?
Seriously, I'm really tired of Paris mania caused by some chick who really has done nothing more than make one bad sex video. For the love of God people, please just start ignoring her.
Question #2: How do we make her go away? If only we knew-all these other people whose 15 minute of fame expired long ago would have been gone long ago. http://home.earthlink.net/~sbp777/smilies/santaredface.gif

She won't disappear as quickly as we would like. There are already talks of a sequel to The Simple Life.
