Ok, I do not feel rules or punishments belong in this fourm, yet after the "11 free cd's" I think we need to grow up. Although this may be a way to relax and sit back after work (Or during work in my case) we don't need people playing games as the case of the post by German Superstar. Will an administrator please close the post or archive it...

AmRivlin: I agree with you completely. I found his post insulting to all those who make this board such an ongoing success.

I'm relatively new here, and I would hate for such a great community to be annoyed by the posts from a very small minority of immature idiots. I've seen it happen...

Amrivln: Although I don't know exactly to what you are referring, let's not get into people closing this thread or banning that user. I think we are of the type of community that has the intelligence and maturity to deal with idiots the way we deserve to be treated: no attention whatsoever. Just let it go. No harm done, just let the retard stew in his own stupid-juices. It's the self-governing nature of this board that makes it special. Let's not get into censure where none is needed. We've all seen where that primrose path leads!

PC rules!!!! Don't really like Mac, so freaken hard to upgrade and/or change the hardware. My 2cents.

Note for all Mac user: Sorry, just my opinion. I use to have a Mac, can't do crap with it.

i've gotten into too many pc-mac fights to care anymore. all i have to say is that the proof is in the real world. example: where i work we have 5 pc's and one mac. people wont touch the mac with a ten foot pole.

I despise macs (unless a unix varient is being run on it, then I'll tolerate it), and I was shocked when I went into one of the schools computer labs. ALL of the macs were in use and only one of the PCs where in use.

The only thing I could think of why so many people on macs was that a lot of stupid people goto my college.

yeah, we have no macs in the programming labs, but i hear that ucla does have them in the design computer labs, but luckily i never go there...

Yup we got a bunch of Macs here at UCLA. Some of the programmers even use it to design 3D visualizations on it. It's really impressive.

Only reason I say impressive is cuz they got one hooked up to a huge screen called a Visualization Portal where i work. It's a 30 X 10 ft concaved screen. You guys should see the stuff they show on there...
