Although dangerous, some of them were pretty funny, like the chase where these guys had the LAPD driving in a big circle in the middle of the street, trying to catch them.

this one was very wierd. the guys car stopped on the freeway so he got out and pushed it on the shoulder and without any cops around went behind the car and layed down on the ground

Yeah, I didn't see this one while it was happening. But I just saw it on the local news...you're right, it was pretty weird. I guess he knew he was going to get arrested, so he tried to make a better image of himself to defend himself in court.

Probably got all his experience from watching all those other LA car chases. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Yeah, it seems like the thing to do is to do residential streets that are WIDE...no ramming outta someone's driveway...Did you guys see the one on the motorcycle? he was doing pretty good until he ran outta gas...

I remember the chase with the army tank (I think it was in San Diego). That was awesome. None of the cops dare to get near it until the end of the chase.

Dang nothing happens good here on the East Coast. All we see here is some Redneck talking about how the hurricane recked his shack. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/frown.gif

Despite the fact that I drive way too fast, I hate Police Chases. It's a huge waste of money, and endangers too many people. Personally, I would like to see the Police equipped with a Huey or Apache with NightHawk and some Hellfire on-round. Go flying down my street will ya - here, take a missile up your hatchback.
This is all OJs fault! Two times I've almost been hit by people in those chases. Yeah, they always happen near my house (Cerritos). What's the deal with Norwalk, Long Beach, and Paramount. Is it like the best place to drive in circles or something? I know the 105 is fast, but really!
I guess I'm getting all old fogey now http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/frown.gif

Yeah, the TLC channel was showing the tank chasing incident. They said that the guy who stole the tank was drunk and he was heading to a hospital or something to blow it up because his HMO screwed him.

Wow, the fact that I'll be using an HMO is starting to scare me. That guy who lit himself and his dog on fire on live TV? You guys remember that? That was HMO related too. Hmmm...what's the problem with them again?

HMO tend to red tape people to death...literally http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/frown.gif (no pun intended)

I was wondering, it seems to me like the major trick in getting away is getting away from the helicopter right? Why don't these guys just drive around LAX airspace? Would'nt the choppers need to lay back or am i smoking crack?
Did you guys see the one where the guy got away??? He drove down to the border! He drove through the middle of this desert, smashed into the wall, jumped on top of his car and bolted over the wall... I was cheering hahaha

Hmm... haven't seen that many chases lately. I always like the jumpers on the freeways... I thought those were hilarious http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
