PRICEDROP
I'm selling my home theater projector. Its a boxlight xp-8t. Price at $1200! shipped.
It is the same projector as the Sanyo PLC-XW20 and EIKI LC-XM4, just marketed by Boxlight.
It has been a sweet projector, I'm just moving to a place that is a little too small. I've used it as my only television for close to a full year now. I have used it for digital cable, direct tv, dvd's, vhs, xbox, playstation 1 and 2, computer games, and even SNES .
Everything is unbelievably clear and defined as it has its own line doubler for interlaced sources. DVD's in 480p and directtv in 1080i is unreal. Testomonials from friends: "holy ****," "i can't believe its so clear," "I'm not playing (gran turismo, grand theft auto 3, halo, twisted metal black) any more, its making me sick."
Playingn live for speed online, with my force feedback wheel, I have stood up shaking, sweating, and pumped, the SAME feeling as I get driving my mustang cobra w/ 550hp in autocross or on a road course.
The projector IS XGA (1024x768) and will take VGA at 1280x1024 and scale it down to its native 1024x768. (Hint: don't buy a svga projector if you want to do hidef stuff). It is plenty bright at 1100 lumens. You can use it with the curtains up if the sun isn't shining right in the room. Its contrast ratio is a little low, so blacks aren't as dark as they should be, but nobody besides me has ever noticed. Projector central rates it at 39db, but the fans always run slower and quieter than that. (You can hear them at full speed for about 15 seconds when it first starts up, but they slow down.)
The new lamp has about 150 hours on it. The projector is in perfect condition, includes the remote, projector, and power cables.
I am selling it at the very low price of $1200 shipped.
Projector in action, pictures still don't do it justice:
