the rules: no gaybashing. i don't want to hear it. think it's wrong to be gay? good. don't be gay. otherwise, take your views and shove 'em.
i do not think domestic abuse in itself is funny. if you think domestic abuse is something i shouldn't joke about... shove it. take that energy and channel it into volunteering at your local women's shelter. brag to me about it later.
okay, so domestic abuse...
under the broadest definition of abuse, 25% of women have suffered abuse at the hands of their partner (and about 17% of men at the hands of their women.)
that's for heterosexuals.
among homosexual men, the numbers ar much lower... maybe 5%.
among homosexual women, the numbers are MUCH HIGHER... maybe as high as 50%.
what this proves?
a. it's up to men to keep women under control. take men out of the equation, and women run amok.
b. take women out of the equation, and men are much happier, more peaceful beings.
c. fights are obviously almost always the woman's fault.
(i dare all you dudes to present this proof to your s.o.'s next time you're fighting :heh: )
