voice stream phones

Hey has anyone used the new voice stream network? That's the one that Jamie Lee Curtis is the spokesperson for. I'm in the east coast area and was looking for some feedback before I sign that annual contract.

Is VoiceStream the company that bought out Omnipoint? Or merged or something? If so, I'm in NYC, and my service ain't that great. Can't blame it on the phone cause I bought the Timeport. I imagine the free phone they give you is even worst.

Yup, Voicestream acquired Omnipoint. Are you serious? Is the service really that bad? I guess it's a good thing that the rest of us signed up with MCI, huh?
