ss:wife calling cuz the baby needs doctor and i'm on a business trip

this sucks. my wife just called and said that she found blood in carter's diaper a couple of times. the doctor is pretty concered and she is taking him in. i'm outside of atlanta georgia on a business trip. there's nothing i can do but sit in this freakin' hotel room and hope he's ok.

ok. it's better now. just got a call from my wife and the doc said it's nothing major to worry about after she checked him. just gotta make sure it doesn't keep up for a couple of weeks.

thanks! i'm beginning to become quite attached to him. i bonded instantly with my first son. possibly because i didn't fully grasp how much better i would like him when he got older. or possibly because i watched him more and didn't have to share my attention with another kid. anyhow, it's great.

and dunno. she said some intestinal bleeding is normal. :shrug:

you will find funky stuff in babies diapers..its because of the mothers' hormones leaving the babies system..he looks pretty happy-and he's too damn cute for words :)

awww....isn't it cool when they start smiling and cooing at you?

carter did that the day i left. he had smiled at me before but never really just cooed like he liked me. then i had to jump on a plane and go away. and i gotta be gone for nearly a week next week :cry:

I wasn't there to take those pictures (my daughter was especially targetting smiles sometimes, and she emailed some to me). Alissa is about 4 weeks old in those pictures. But when I was there she was about 3 weeks old, and I was getting some smiles and coos. :love:

How old is Carter now?

By the way, I'll be outside of Atlanta (Griffin) for a few days next week.
