Does emotions enhance or hinder human kind?
Is the perfect mortal one with no feelings or one that can feel for everything?

Without emotions the human race would be nothing but a mindless instinct driven mass of useless flesh. I believe that if all we did was run around like ants gathering food just to prolong our lives we would be extinct. This is because I think there would be no progression of technology because noone would wish to better him/herself or to create something more usefull than a rock.

Imagine a person who feels no fear or wonder when a lion walks by. The lion is humgry and eats the person. Nobody would care so lions could have people for lunch every day. Good for them, bad for us.

With this in mind, I would have to say emotions dramatically enhance human kind. But as to the question of perfection, I have to say that since perfection can be either a fact or opinion depending on the subject I can't choose yes or no. There can be valid points made for both options and I don't believe that a consensus could be made.
