Don't know what to get for the wife yet...
My g/f hates Valentine's day. HATES it.
She suggested to me last year that we order pizza and drink beer, so we don't have to go out.
She rocks :D

I agree with your g/f. Why make a big deal out of one day? You should be treating your significant other special all the time. I think it is much more romantic when it is not forced. So Nija pass me a beer. :)
Drunkenly, i asked my g/f (who's over here watching South Park: The Movie with me right now) if she wants to "order pizzaa and drink beer" and she just agreed :D
I'm planning on getting her some nice jewelry though, but she can adore it after a few beers and pizzas :)

No SO this year. :|
Romance is a state of mind, anyway. Why do something special on a day just because Hallmark tells you to?
More brownie points can be won by sending flowers and cards for no special occasion-- then the focus ain't on the manufactured holidays-- it's on what a cool guy you are. :D
As for me, I'm going to drown my unhappiness in a box of these (http://www.despair.com/bittersweets.html). ;)

I am going to be fighting in a judo tournament. I have not told the SO yet. I was kind of waiting for an opportune time.
