I have this router.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006HMR5/ref=e_de_a_td/104-5108191-1703940?v=glance&s=electronics&vi=tech-data

It says that it transfers at 22 mbps or at "turbo" speeds. Can any wireless pci card that is 802.11b compliant utilize the 22mbps?

Only products that use the same "turbo" protocall can achieve the "22 mbps". Most likely only products from the same manufacturer with that specific feature will be able to do so.

that's the thing. They list all the usual standards ( IEEE802.11b Compliant, Wi-Fi certified; IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, and 802.11b compliant) and don't mention any specific protocols.

I'll check their website.

ah it's Packet Binary Convolution Code (PBCC) modulation. Who knew?

Eh, the router was cheap as a b router anyways.
