Anyone heard of these guys by now?

They are the biggest thing in Britain recently, and I personally don't mind what they're doing. They're bringing back the fun lyrics and high pitched singing of the 80's, with some new style. NOTE: The lead singer's not that pretty, but it's still fun to watch.

Watch their hit music video "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" (http://www.mtv.com/bands/az/darkness/audvid.jhtml)

This guy is INCREDIBLE live -- he can hit all the high notes!

I realize some people may find this "comeback" annoying or unwanted, but ah well, they're doing something completely different from the rap/R&B/alt rock scene.

i think the word on this band is extremely polarized. some people think they're geniuses, others think they're a joke. i think they're a little bit of both, and if i liked the songs on their album just a bit more, i might have actually bought it.

oh, and a friend of mine says i remind her of the lead singer, and i'm not sure if that's a compliment or not... :hmm:

I think they are great. Their videos are hilarious. Granted I wouldnt rock their music in my car, but when I see their videos I do get more entertainment out of it than standard mtv fare.

I remember watching some of their music videos when I was in europe for xmas. I thought they were horrible, the xmas tune they did was soooooooooooo bad.

Oh well, to each his own.
