Hello everyone,
I'm finally ready to build a custom PC, and I'm looking for recommendations on Motherboards, CPUs, cooling, power supply, and cases. Although I have a lot of experience with PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, this will be the first time I've built an entire system from scratch. I'd like to keep the total cost of these core components to $500 or less (if possible). It's not really a gaming machine as much as I want it to be as powerful as it can be (under a budget). Here are some ideas I have right now:
CPU: Athon 64 3200
Mobo: Micro-Star International K8T Neo-FIS2R
Cooling: Danger Den RBX for Athlon 64/Opteron
Power Supply: Kalman ZM400B-APS
