Question re: differences between the way Netscape and IE deal with replies

Hey all - I just reloaded Windows 98 and company on to my new hard drive, and I haven't yet gotten Netscape. One thing that I noticed is that whenever I post replies to messages, and get automatically returned to them, I can't see my reply - even if I reload or empty the cache and reload, I can't see them, whereas in Netscape I could always just reload and see my replies. What's going on?

Thats strange....
Whenever I post from home, I see my responses right away but when I post from work...it takes about 10 minutes before I can see them. It moves the topic to the top of the list and all but my post isn't there. Both are running IE on Win98.
Anybody know why?

It is in the internet options settings, look around. Or just hold down shift and press reload.

Your work might have it cached on their proxy server.

Fuz - yeah, I've tried that - I've even moved back to the main forum page, emptied that cache, and gone back in... weird.

i agree it might have been cached in the company server
