I should've shaved, popped a few zits, and combed my hair. That said, I got a call this morning from someone looking for my uncle. I told them that he didn't live here anymore, and they asked if he was sixty-something. I told them no, and that he was in his early fifties, so they said they were looking for a sixty something year old man of the same name.
So I came back from the DMV and there were these three guys at our house, one with a camera. And all of a sudden, it turns out they were looking for this old Korean guy who'd been kidnapped in Japan about thirty years back, and had the exact same name as my uncle. So here these guys are from Japan, got me on camera looking like an idiot, and I'm looking pretty stupidly confused.
I showed them a picture of my uncle compared to the one they showed of the guy they were looking for, and they didn't match. They interviewed me about my uncle, and then went off. They taped me closing my door a couple of times, for dramatic effect I'm sure. They then taped themselves driving off, and then drove away for real. I gave them my business card, and they siad they'd send me a copy of the tape. So yay.
Hmm, I hope that my long nose hairs didn't poke out on camera.
