Yep, that's the same gun the A-10 Warthog carries...if the A-10 could carry enough ammo to sustain fire long enough, continuously firing the gun would bring the aircraft to a stop in midair...:eek:

4500 rounds per minute -> 75 rounds per second x apx 2 kg/round = 150 kg/second of depleted uranium, lead, and steel in the air...

(So, it could throw the mass of a standard human being in the path of an incoming missle every 0.6 seconds or so)
