it doesnt really matter, since sbc owns all the facilities. just pick the cheapest provider. if you have any problems, it will most likely be facility problems, and that means you will have them regardless of who you pay.

that's pretty much true for all of california and arizona and texas and anywhere else sbc owns phone companies. if you have pacific bell local service it is definately true for your area. same for south western bell.
