so i'm going to vegas again this weekend... and everyone tells me that video poker is a pretty fair game... as long as i find the correct payouts... so... what payouts am i suppose to look for and which game?

every game has a payout list....

i forget the exact numbers, but just look through most of the machines first before sitting down. you'll see.

Google for video poker strategies.

It really depends on the game. For instance, 3 of a kind has good odds/payouts for staight jacks or better poker, but not for Aces or Deuses poker.

My recommendation: 5-hand Deuses Wild poker, if you can find a multihand, multigame machine.

If I remember correctly, anything that gives pays out 9:1 for flushes is a machine that pays back more than 100%.

Yes, but the payout odds are skewed more in your favor only if you bet 5 coins for the "max royal" payout.

Yes, you will most likely never hit it, but that payout is factored into the odds.

I was in Vegas one time where some girl hit a royal with only 1 quarter bet - missed out on the jackpot.
