Over the phone we were talking and she asks me, "so.... got a girlfriend yet? what's her name?" I responded, "palmula." My mom repeats the name and procedes to say, "that's an odd name" while my dad is laughing in the background.

I'm impressed that you said that to your mom more than your mom's response.

psh. you haven't heard the half of it. when i first went to school here at OSU, she thought it was cute that the school mascot was a beaver. being like she was, she didn't understand the other meaning of beaver. so i'd say random things about beaver to her and she'd think it was cute. although the things i said about beaver had a HUGE sexual connotation. One day I got an angry phone call from her because she started repating what i said to other people....

Man you have a pretty sick relationship with mom. Most folks I know wouldn't be making beaver jokes to dear old mom.

My parents are here visiting, and I swear that is our favorite past time with mom!
My aunt (her sister) says that this is why she was put on earth, to make people laugh!

Revil,
That woman carried you for 9 months and gave birth to you. I don't know if we're thankful for that, but you should be.
Now that thats over with. You should tell your mom how badly you treat your "girlfriend." Things like you only use "her" for sex and you make her do your laundry and she hand feeds you.
The jokes are limitless....

GF = hand i.e. "self love and gratification".
Basically a long term relationship in some people's cases. :hihi:
Speaking from experience??? J/K ;)
