I am looking for a trailer that you can sleep in, and also haul stuff, like a motorcycle. I don't know what they are called, so I can't google it. Does anyone know what I am talking about???

Fifth wheel?

No, I don't think that's it...a 5th wheel is the type of hitch, I believe. What I'm looking for is a trailer we can put hubby's motorcycle in and still sleep in when we go to Minnesota this summer. Thanks though! :)

Well, this is mostly a camper, but the back opens up so you can put the bike inside. I guess stuff inside, like the table would fold up or detach to make room.

OR, maybe I'm nuts and there is no such thing.

yea just slap a couple wheels on your house and save some money. actualy you may be better off with a USED moter home or RV and tehn get a plain trailer to haul your toys with.

http://www.cargo-trailers.com/continental/cont_motorcycle.html

hear are some cheaper ones

you could get a plain trailer and stay in alot of hotel rooms for the price of some of those trailers esp the 18 wheelers

I would have seconded esdee and said fifth wheel as well, as that is what they are calling those towed trailers now rather than RV.

I thought that a 5th wheel is any trailer that hitches to the bed of the truck rather than the back bumper??

That's what a 5th wheel is. It might be a horse trailer.

a towed trailer is generally called a "travel trailer". if the hitch connects to the "5th wheel" which is mounted in the bed of the truck then it is called a "5th wheel travel trailer" which is usually shortened to just "5th wheel".

RV implies that it is a vehicle rather than a trailer.

Odd...I originally thought it was just called a trailer, then I was corrected that it was actually called a fifth wheel. Multiple people showed me that it was called a fifth wheel in ads. Maybe its a regional thing. I am originally from the East Coast and yet the people and area where I was told that it was a fifth wheel, are all left coasters.
