What constitutes a "long shower"?

Well? I just took a "long shower" that lasted all of 15 minutes. It's been ages since I took a shower for the pleasure of it (rather stressed out lately), and I was surprised at how short it was.

How long are your "long showers"?

I can go 20 minutes in the morning...something about hot showers and trying to wake up...i think I've fallen asleep once or twice before...

normally I do 10 minutes

bout the same. normal shower is about half that.

My usual shower is probably about ten minutes. A "long" shower easily goes 20 minutes or even longer (up to about 30) if there's enough hot water and if I'm still tired.

5-7 minutes is normal 10-15 is a long shower for me, and it also dependson if you have company in the shower :)

I love taking long showers, and to me long is about 25-35 minutes. Soooo relaxing.

long showers are fine if there is no one else that needs it ...college apt with one shower and one person with an early class and the other person with no class till 10 am but wants to take a "long" shower at 730.

I've been known to take hour long showers before. Its very relaxing.

My long shower is about 15 minuets at my house, that is when the water turns cold. When I go home for the holidays I take atleast 30 min showers.

long showers - another vote for when the water goes cold. (which is about 25 - 30mins)

short - about 10. because i forget what i was originally there to do.

my short showers are 20 minutes........ i worked that down from 30 minutes. i often fall asleep in the shower too. I actually just put a clock in the shower to work on reducing that time down to 15 mins max.

30 minutes. I have one of those way cool 'rain type' shower heads and especially after a long workout it's easy to just surrender.

The typical shower for me is about 7-10 minutes.

The showers are long due to bad back. The grammar due to one hand typing.

a long shower for me is probably around 25 minutes....i don't really ever run longer than that.

typical is about 16 minutes, although if i really rush i can shower in around 10.

If I need to I can get in and out (of the shower) in 3 minutes, although that is only when I have no other choice. On average, I take 10 minutes or so. A long shower is 20 minutes or more.

My record is over an hour, maybe close to 2 hours. However, that was due to trying to get rid of the lactic acid burn after a super intense meet, and thus was in a locker room shower where there was no issue with the water cooling down. I could hardly move my muscles were hurting so much so I just switched between leaning under the spray and sitting in a chair that was brought in for me.

hmm the longest i've gone was about 2 hrs... after olympic trials... but it was more along the lines that i couldn't move... lol

We called those carwashes at Basic. Whenever we screwed up royally, we'd get in line, and everyone would have something like ninety seconds under water. I was at the end of the line so I lucked out. I doused my wash rag in water from my canteen, and soaped up while I was in line. I just had to rinse off.

My personal best for a shower is a long time though. After Basic, for example, I think I spent an hour in the tub just soaking it in.

Damn you guys take short showers, my usual is like 30-40 minutes, i once took a shower for 4 hours. I love taking showers, espiacly when your apartment pays for the water.
